  Village Tavern is a consistently excellent restaurant. The food and service are top-notch and the atmosphere is a great blend of relaxed and romantic. You will be at home whether dressed in your best or less formal. On our last visit the server was very knowledgeable and helpful in making both our food and wine selections.

  Without a doubt a 5 star restaurant on any spectrum. I just left the place two hours ago for an anniversary dinner and am beyond satisfied with the service I received. JP was our waiter for the night and was absolutely amazing. Although it was a Monday night, the place was pretty busy. Like usual, the waiter was responsible for several tables. We never went more than 10-15 minutes without getting assisted or checked up on by someone. If JP was tied up, he made sure one of his co workers came over to ensure everything was okay with us. Knowing it was our anniversary, JP offered a dessert to us, on the house! When do you see that happening?! Also, the table next to us had a birthday. No one outside of the table knew until their waiter came over with a cupcake and a candle- "I saw on your ID that it was your birthday so I wanted to surprise you." COME ON. That was so sweet. 6star restaurant in my bike. Highly impressed. Highly recommend !!!

  The service is impeccable. The ambiance is nice, and made for a romantic dinner. The food was beyond our expectations. Very creative, lovely presentation, and simply delicious. We opted out of the tasting menu, but may do that next time.
